What is Horizon?

A lending and liquidity protocol on Ethereum. You supply, borrow and provide liquidity, and HORIZON lockers earn a share of the revenue all of it generates.

Where does the yield come from?

From real protocol revenue: borrower interest, borrow, liquidation and flash-loan fees, vault performance fees, a share of daily auction deposits and fees on Buy page trades. Suppliers earn HORIZON incentives on top.

Borrowers pay interest plus a borrow fee, and vaults take a performance fee from the trading fees they earn. Those fees are protocol revenue, so part of every one flows back to veHORIZON holders.

Can I lose money?

Yes. A borrow can be liquidated when its health factor reaches 1.0, vault deposits carry impermanent loss, and Guardian Pool stakers absorb shortfalls first, so a staker can withdraw less than they deposited. Smart contract risk remains after any audit.

The audit is under way: three independent auditors are reviewing a frozen copy of the code, across lending, HORIZON, veHORIZON, revenue, the auction and the vaults. Findings and fixes are published in the docs as they close.
